Healthy Kids Recipes
I have 2 children and I am always asking myself if I am giving my kids enough nutrition in their diets. have read numerous books and articles and I seem to come down to one thing, choice.

There are many ways we can change the eating habits of our families, it just comes down to choice.

Healthy Kids Recipes should include foods that are full of vitamins and nutrients.

Important facts to know about Vitamin C for children.
Vitamin C is present in a variety of fruits and vegetables.
In healthy recipes for children it is important to maintain a healthy immune system.

Vitamin C acts as powerful anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidants.
By using healthy kids recipes, children get their daily Vitamin C by eating fruits and vegetables.

Not only are Fruits vital for the health and well being of children vegetables are also a very import source of vitamin and nutrients.

Preferably raw vegetables since they have high fiber and water content. Fruits and vegetables are full of flavor and have a variety of beautiful colors and textures that fascinate children.

You won’t find an easier food than fruits to get kids to eat.

Nothing is more challenging than trying to fit a healthy diet into our families’ busy lives.

Whether it is healthy kids snacks or main meals we all seem to have our weaknesses.

We do have our jobs cut out for us because everywhere we turn there are fast food chains popping up on every corner.

The other evening on the way home from soccer my 6 year asked if we could go to the “Golden Arches” for super.

My reply was “no we are going to eat something healthy for dinner”.

The reply was chicken nuggets and fries is healthy! I then realized that maybe helping our children understand why we need to eat healthy is also an important part of the equation to healthy diets.

I have allot more to add, ideas recipes and more so come on back and see what’s new.

If you have something to share, please share…
